Beeswax Food Wraps
How to BeeBee Wrap
About BeeBee Wraps
BeeBee Wraps came to life because of the real need for sustainable plastic alternatives, something that works really well and looks beautiful too!
My name is Kath Austin. BeeBee Wraps started in my kitchen. The amount of single-use plastic we consumed was unacceptable to me. A good friend introduced me to the idea that people have used beeswax coated cotton to preserve food for centuries. I felt intrigued to rediscover this old-fashioned art and unearth its potential for the world we live in now. After months of experimenting with different formulas in my kitchen came the BeeBee Wrap.
Nature moves in cycles, and everything created returns to the earth. Nature doesn’t pollute itself, and yet here we humans are, creating billions of plastic items destined for landfill and oceans for hundreds of years to come. BeeBee Wraps are made from organic cotton, local beeswax, natural tree resin and organic jojoba oil, all of which will break down on your compost heap and return to nature without a trace.
BeeBee Wraps are ethical and sustainable from cotton grower through to production. We have set up our business to reflect BeeBee Wraps’ credentials by paying our staff at least the Living Wage, we support our bee populations by actively working alongside our beekeeping communities to perpetuate the pollinating population and strive to reach zero waste and low impact in everything we do.
Making BeeBee Wraps beautiful is very important. Why should the environmentally friendly option not enhance our own surroundings? BeeBee Wraps are made with gorgeous designs to compliment your own tastes. Tell us what you would like to see next on your BeeBee Wrap.
Our team is the core of BeeBee Wraps and without these amazing people, there simply would not be BeeBee Wraps in kitchens around the world. Luana, Bebe, me, Suzie and David (L to R) all enjoyed a prosecco or two on our first birthday. The other team member, Rachel, was celebrating another special person’s birthday that day but is very much part of Team BeeBee too. Since then we’ve grown again and welcomed Rachel (another one), Tom, Kate, Teo, Holly, and George!
With humble beginnings we are, rather aptly, growing organically being introduced to households every day as a way to make a personal and impactful contribution to preserving our world.
Thanks so much for reading about us.

BeeBee Wraps are everything that I was looking for, even when I didn’t know I was looking for it! Surely all of us are annoyed and uncomfortable about how much plastic and clingfilm we use, but up until this point there seemed no solution….enter BeeBee Wraps! They are perfect for all of your previous clingfilm needs but are beautiful and brilliant for the environment!Monica, BeeBee Wraps customer
Setting up the farm shop I worked around the ethos of three words; organic, sustainable and local. BeeBee Wraps ticked all three boxes, and then some! As a supplier it is paramount to believe in the product you are selling, with BeeBee wraps that is very easy. At a time when we are more aware than ever of the devastation of plastic overuse the BeeBee Wraps are practically selling themselves! I sell them, I use them myself and I give them to family members and friends – everybody loves the benefits, usages and the beautiful patterns! I am so happy to see how well Kath (founder) and her team are doing as frontiers in the less plastic movement.Jenny Colgan, Founder of The Farm Shop at Linton and proud BeeBee Wraps Stockist
