| Lemonaid and ChariTea are soft drinks how they should be. Made from only the best Organic and Fairtrade fruits and teas. As a Social Enterprise we deliberately pay higher prices for the raw ingredients to promote fair and sustainable trading conditions. By supporting Fairtrade, farmers and workers are empowered to combat poverty and take more control over their lives.
But we don’t just rely on international certificates and quality seals. We want to see for ourselves exactly where the ingredients come from. That’s why every year, we travel to the farming regions to get to know the local farmers.
What’s more, for every bottle sold, 5p goes to the Lemonaid & ChariTea Foundation which supports people and organisations in the ingredients’ growing regions. These growing regions are often economically disadvantaged from global trade. Here the Foundation supports local initiatives which work to improve local social, economic and ecological structures. To this date over £3 million has been raised.
