The Heart of England Co-operative Society has agreed a new distribution agreement with LocoSoco, the social enterprise which offers a wide range of refillable household products, including sanitisers, at value price points.
The distribution agreement will see 35 Co-op stores fitted out with LocoSoco eco-refill stations.
Heart of England Co-operative Society ambient category manager Philip Moore said: “This product is very much in demand by our local communities – its popularity has been demonstrated by a fantastic first week of sales in our stores.
“We look forward to working with the company to develop our sustainable solutions even further for the benefit of our members and customers.”
LocoSoco CEO James Perry added:“At present, it seems that as fast as we cansupply our existing network,new distribution channel opportunities continue to materialise.
“We are delighted to secure this new distribution arrangement with the Heart of England Co-operative Society and look forward to working with them on further sustainability initiatives.”
